• Roman Reigns Challenges Former UFC Heavyweight Champion
During a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns said he can smash anyone in one-on-one competition, even retired UFC fighter Daniel Cormier (who is a former UFC Heavyweight & Light Heavyweight Champion).
Here’s what Reigns said:
“I like one-on-ones, to be honest. I’d smash anybody whether it’s Daniel Bryan one-on-one, Edge one-on-one, DC, I’ll smash him one-on-one. Get him from behind the table, get him back in the gym, maybe he could have a chance. I don’t know, it would be a short story.”
Cormier then responded the following to The Tribal Chief:
“Watch your mouth Roman Reigns! I’ll dance with the big dog!”

There have been talks about Cormier coming to WWE in the past, for either a match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania (Lesnar vs. Cormier was teased at UFC 226, but didn’t happen) or for a commentary role.
Cormier currently does commentary at UFC events.

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on April 2, 1995, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WrestleMania XI’ LIVE on PPV from the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
This was the 11th annual WrestleMania event and it featured NFL Legend “L.T.” Lawrence Taylor in the main event.
The inaugural WrestleMania happened in 1985 and even nowadays, WrestleMania is still by far the biggest professional wrestling event on the planet every year.
