During a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Universal Champion Roman Reigns revealed that he’s working on his new theme song.

Here’s what The Tribal Chief said:

“Yeah, we’re working on it. I’ll just say that, we’re working on it. It’s not easy. I’m not gonna just…with this character, it’s gotta be the right vibe. You know, I can’t, you know, be… you can’t just hire a rapper…or check out this guitar riff. It can’t just be some rock music.”

Reigns then said about his current Shield theme song:

“The Shield music, I wasn’t even into it back in the day, but over the years it just started working. You just get so used to something I just kinda timed my pace to it.”

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on January 21, 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired their annual ‘Royal Rumble’ event LIVE on PPV from the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This marks the 3rd and last time that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin officially won the Royal Rumble match, which is a record that still stands as of today.
