We previously reported that the match between “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns and WWE Hall Of Famer Edge for the Universal Championship has been officially announced for next month’s Money In The Bank 2021 pay-per-view.

Edge demanded Adam Pearce & Sonya Deville to book this match after SmackDown went off the air (this was shown on Talking Smack).

Reigns tweeted the following regarding this match (which was originally scheduled to take place at WrestleMania 37):

“Once they experience the #IslandOfRelevancy..

They always want more.

Edge tweeted the following:

“Night night kid. Try not to drool on the chair. See ya at #MITB”

Reigns previously defeated Edge and Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat Match in the main event of WrestleMania 37 (by pinning both men at the same time), but never faced The Rated-R Superstar one-on-one.
