• All In 2024 was a night full of surprises, including former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter’s comeback, Ricochet’s debut, and Nigel McGuinness’ return to the ring. The event concluded with Bryan Danielson capturing the AEW World Championship.
On the Zero Hour pre-show, Jamie Hayter made her long-awaited return after being out of action for over a year due to injury. Her return occurred during a segment where Saraya and her family were in the ring. Saraya, claiming to be the best wrestler from England, was interrupted by Hayter, who took out Saraya’s mother after being attacked. The segment ended with Hayter standing tall while Saraya made a quick exit.
According to Fightful Select, discussions about Hayter’s in-ring return had been ongoing for months, with a tentative plan for her to come back at All In.
A source mentioned that Hayter met with AEW President Tony Khan recently, but the details were kept under wraps. While there was a general idea of her role at the event, it wasn’t finalized until the week of the show.
At one point, management even considered a short squash match for her return.
