• Ronda Rousey Says She Refused To Tap Out To Top WWE Star

Ronda Rousey’s biggest feud during her time in WWE was with Becky Lynch. They made history by being the first women to headline WrestleMania in 2019 (along with Charlotte Flair).

Rousey and Lynch were supposed to face each other in a Champion vs. Champion match at Survivor Series 2018, but the latter got replaced by Flair as Nia Jax injured her on an episode of RAW prior to the Premium Live Event.

The Man finally got her hands on the UFC legend in a Winner Takes All Triple-Threat match to capture the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship.

While speaking to The Lapsed Fan, Ronda Rousey revealed that WWE wanted to book her to tap out to Becky Lynch during their planned Survivor Series encounter, but she refused to do it.

“It was proposed that I tap out to her (Becky Lynch) armbar at Survivor Series, and I said, ‘My mother would disown me.’ Anytime anyone’s actually ever arm-barred me in real life, I’ve just let them dislocate it and I limp arm out. That’s why my ligaments are all f**ked up in this arm. So, I’m not gonna do it. Anytime anyone ever choked me out in competition, I just went out, and I don’t tap. I no tap motherf**ker. That’s how it is.

The only person I said I would ever allow to submit me was Shayna (Baszler), and that’s why I wanted to go out, so that’s how I went out. I didn’t tap out. Let her choke me out.”

She went on to say that she enjoyed her final match in WWE, which people backstage appreciated too.

“Well, I mean, I love that match (with Shayna Baszler at WWE SummerSlam 2023) because, it’s funny, it was super over with all the wrestlers in the back. I’ve never got more compliments from more people. Yeah, that was more at the point where I’m like, this is for us. Screw you guys.”

• Floyd Mayweather vs. Mike Tyson Super Fight Announced

WWE Hall of Famer (Celebrity Wing) Mike Tyson and WrestleMania 24 competitor Floyd Mayweather are set to face one another in a first-of-its-kind Boxing matchup, with the two icons officially signing on for an exhibition fight scheduled for spring 2026.

According to TMZ Sports, the bout will be staged by CSI Sports/Fight Sports. While the specific venue and date have not yet been finalized, both fighters have confirmed the agreement. The announcement marks one of the most unexpected pairings in boxing history, given their vastly different eras, styles, weight class and long-standing tensions outside the ring.

Tyson, who returned to the spotlight with his high-profile 2024 fight against Jake Paul, admitted he never envisioned stepping into the ring with Mayweather. Calling the fight “unpredictable,” the former heavyweight champion acknowledged his skepticism but promised fans a spectacle. Before fighting Jake, Tyson last fought professionally in 2005, though his clash with Paul drew massive global attention, topping 100 million viewers worldwide.

Mayweather, who retired from professional boxing in 2017 with a perfect 50-0 record, made clear that his legacy is untouchable regardless of the outcome. He described the exhibition as another “legendary” event in a career filled with marquee moments, citing his unmatched drawing power. Since retirement, Mayweather has appeared in several exhibitions, including bouts with Logan Paul and other crossover opponents.

The fight will not count toward Mayweather’s official record, nor will it affect Tyson’s storied legacy, but the exhibition is poised to be a global media spectacle. With one fighter widely regarded as the greatest defensive technician of all time and the other as one of boxing’s most feared punchers, the event is expected to command worldwide attention.

Mayweather was recently named by ESPN as the top fighter of the 21st century, while Tyson’s reign in the 1980s and 1990s cemented him as one of the sport’s most electrifying heavyweights.

Their meeting, though unconventional, shows the sport’s growing embrace of crossover events designed for spectacle and massive viewership.
