As seen on last night’s episode of RAW, Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler won the vacant WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

They defeated Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi, Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville and Damage CTRL (Bayley & IYO SKY) in a Fatal 4-Way match to become champions.

After winning the Championship, Ronda took a shot at WWE’s women’s division, especially the depth of the women’s tag team division and WWE Officials not caring about it.

Below is what the UFC Hall of Famer said during an interview with the New York Post:

“The lack of competition is really the problem. I mean, we want to be the most active champions out there. I want to be able to defend this Title every week and even twice a week on both SmackDown and RAW.

But with how dismally shallow the women’s division is right now, there’s not enough women around here to keep us busy for a month.

And so that’s the biggest challenge that we have is to get this company to actually care and invest into this tag division.”

Ronda & Shayna were originally scheduled to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 39, but the plan got delayed due to Ronda’s injury.

While Rousey did compete in the Women’s WrestleMania Showcase Match, she was heavily protected and limited in that match.
