Ronda Rousey Signs Full-Time Deal With WWE For Next “Several” Years

As seen at the Royal Rumble 2018 PPV, former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey made her way out after Asuka won the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Ronda pointed at the WrestleMania 34 sign and then offered a handshake to Asuka, but Asuka slapped her hand away. Ronda pointed at the WrestleMania 34 sign again and left the ring. Ronda greeted the fans at ringside and shook Stephanie McMahon’s hand.

According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, Ronda Rousey has signed a full-time deal with WWE:

Below is what Ronda said about being with WWE now:

“This is my life now. First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt. When I first met with Triple H, I told him, ‘There are other things I can do with my time that’ll make way more money, but I won’t enjoy nearly as much’.”
