11. Cody Rhodes Talks About Not Being Happy with Daniel Bryan Criticizing Dusty Rhodes’ Commentary Work In WCW
During a recent appearance on the Art of Wrestling podcast, former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes talked about Daniel Bryan criticizing Dusty Rhodes’ commentary work in ECW. Below is what Cody said:
“To me, a lot of people speak to me about Dusty objectively, and forget he’s my dad. Daniel Bryan once just cut this 45-minute promo on how my dad was a terrible commentator in WCW and I literally pulled the car over and said, ‘hey, dude, that’s my dad. I don’t give a sh!t that he didn’t know the move of Pscosis in this match’ or whatever Dan was talking about.”
12. Update On Heat Between Ric Flair & Vader
We recently noted how former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Vader wasn’t happy with Ric Flair and tweeted the following:
You’re Fu*ked You Big Fat A$$hole. Calling Me Out FatBoy LISTEN TO MY PODCAST WEDNESDAY!!!! This message is for the very classy Ric Flair PIG
Flair addressed this situation on his podcast and said the following:
“We’re great. Awesome. It is all worked out and I was frustrated because I had no idea what was going on, but I know he is very ill and I think he’s been given an estimated time of a length of his life, which he had the same problems that Blackjack Mulligan had, which obviously caught up with Blackjack so hopefully the time frame is longer than I’ve heard.
I’ve always enjoyed working with Van, never had a problem with him before. I’m fine, I’m happy with him, we had a nice talk and everything is cool.”
