3. Stone Cold & Shawn Michaels Returning At Royal Rumble 2017?
As we noted earlier in this article, Royal Rumble 2017 (which will be the 30th edition of the Royal Rumble PPV) will take place in the Alamodome in San Antonio. Royal Rumble 1997 took place in the same venue.
Also noted in this article earlier, WWE will be looking forward to breaking the attendance record for Alamodome. So WWE is trying to get some big names to appear at the event, including WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels & Stone Cold Steve Austin (as they are related to the state of Texas). It should be noted that they might not allow Stone Cold to get physical at the event as he tore his shoulder during his segment at WrestleMania 32 earlier this year.
