• Royce Keys Opens Up About Being Shot & Stabbed

Royce Keys (fka Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW) spoke about surviving multiple violent incidents before reaching WWE during an appearance on Stephanie McMahon’s “What’s Your Story?” podcast. Keys talked about growing up in East Palo Alto, California, describing it as an environment heavily impacted by gang activity and street violence during his youth. He said gunfire was a regular occurrence in his neighborhood and that conflict was a constant presence.

During the discussion, Keys revealed that he has been shot and stabbed in separate incidents. He also said he had been shot at and had witnessed others being shot at close range. According to Keys, some of those encounters involved clear intent to kill.

He explained that many people he grew up around either lost their lives or ended up incarcerated. Keys acknowledged that without strong family guidance, particularly from his grandmother, he believes he could have followed the same path.

The WWE star described his upbringing as a survival environment where avoiding trouble was often a daily challenge. He credited strict household rules and discipline with helping him stay focused long enough to pursue wrestling seriously.

Now a part of WWE, Keys reflected on how those early experiences shaped his mentality. He said everything he endured prepared him for pressure and adversity later in life.

• Tonight’s RAW Is Facing Issues

A powerful Nor’easter is causing chaos for WWE as they prepare for tonight’s episode of RAW in Atlanta. While the show is set to take place at the State Farm Arena, the massive winter storm battering the East Coast has triggered widespread travel disruptions.
