As seen at Raw 25, WWE Champion “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles impersonated Hulk Hogan in his interview with “Mean” Gene Okerlund. You can watch it below:

There were reports that Styles went into business for himself in this promo and upset Vince McMahon by doing the Hulk Hogan impression. However, that’s not the case.

Sports Illustrated noted that Styles doing the Hogan impression was scripted and was requested by Styles himself, as he wanted to pay tribute to the Hulkster (as they were close in TNA).
