• Ronda Rousey To Be A Part Of WWE 2K19

WWE announced the following:

Ronda Rousey announced as second WWE 2K19 Pre-Order Bonus character

“Gaming consoles across the WWE Universe are about to become a lot more “Rowdy.”

Ronda Rousey will officially make her WWE video game debut this fall as a Pre-Order Bonus character for WWE 2K19. 2K first announced Rousey’s appearance with an official trailer that aired last night during Raw.

She joins Rey Mysterio as a playable character being offered as part of the WWE 2K19 Pre-Order Bonus. To gain access to both Superstars, players must pre-order a copy of WWE 2K19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Windows PC at a participating retailer.

Rousey’s playable character will appear in WWE ring gear inspired by the outfit she debuted at WrestleMania 34 in tribute to WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.

The association between Rousey and Piper in WWE 2K19 does not stop at her ring gear, either. A 2015 podcast encounter between the two Superstars figures prominently in the trailer released by 2K, and was echoed in comments made by The Baddest Woman on the Planet in a press release.

“As a WWE Superstar, having support from the Piper family means everything to me,” she said. “It’s an honor to be part of WWE 2K19 and have my name mentioned alongside so many important Superstars in WWE history, including Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle, Ultimate Warrior, Sting and Goldberg.”

Rousey joins Mysterio and AJ Styles, who was recently named the WWE 2K19 cover Superstar, as one of three Superstars confirmed to appear in WWE 2K19.

WWE 2K19 is not yet rated by the ESRB and is scheduled for worldwide release on Tuesday, Oct. 9.”

WWE had their much awaited house show at Madison Square Garden this past Saturday in which top stars like The Undertaker made an appearance. Fans were entertained throughout the show with different matches. One of the matches was Bobby Roode vs. Mojo Rawley in which something unexpected happened.

During the match Roode came off the top rope missing Rawley and immediately collapsed grabbing his right knee. The match then immediately ended with Rawley pinning Roode for the win. The referee removed Bobby’s knee pad and Bobby spent about 5 minutes on the mat clutching his knee in the fetal position. Roode was then helped by officials to reach backstage and it looked like he may have suffered a knee injury.

However, that’s not the case.

Roode worked a tag team match on last night’s RAW and didn’t show any signs of injury.

Speaking of RAW wrestler, Fandango has suffered a shoulder injury and will be undergoing surgery. He is now expected to be out of action for 6 months.

“WWE has learned that Fandango has suffered a Left Labrum tear in his shoulder and will require surgery to fix the issue.

With surgery scheduled for this Tuesday, Fandango Tweeted Sunday morning and speculated that he could be out of action for six months.”
