• Rumor Killer On Ronda Rousey’s WrestleMania 39 Opponent
There’s a rumor going on that Ronda Rousey is going to face Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 39. They both are currently teaming up on SmackDown.
However, that’s not the case.
According to Xero News, that rumor is false, because the plan is for Rousey to face Becky Lynch in a long-awaited singles match at WrestleMania Hollywood.
No word yet on if this match will involve the SmackDown Women’s Championship, as Rousey could lose her Title on the Road to WrestleMania 39.
Rousey vs. Lynch was originally scheduled to take place at Survivor Series 2018, but Lynch got injured before the PPV, and got replaced by Charlotte Flair.
In the main event of WrestleMania 35, Becky pinned Ronda to win both the RAW & SmackDown Women’s Titles, but it wasn’t a singles match as Charlotte was also in it.
