The debut episode of AEW’s new TV show ‘Collision’ will air this Saturday, which will feature the in-ring return of CM Punk.

Punk will team up with AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR to take on ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe & Bullet Club Gold (Jay White & Juice Robinson) in a Trios Match.

This premiere of Collision will also feature the in-ring return of Miro (fka Rusev in WWE).

Both Punk and Miro had their last matches at the All Out 2022 PPV.

While Punk was injured and suspended, Miro hasn’t wrestled since then because he didn’t like AEW’s creative plans for him, and the decision was made to keep him off TV until they can come up with something that Miro agrees on.

Since then, Miro has only made one TV appearance, which was a short backstage cameo on Dynamite in May, where he was shown going into Tony Khan’s office.

After the announcement of Miro returning on Collision was made, a fan tweeted the following:

“I like Miro, too bad they put him on this terrible show. I hope at least they have him in the Heavyweight Title scene.”

Miro saw this and replied:

“How can it be terrible when it hasn’t happened yet? The debut episode is this Saturday June 17th and The Redeemer will be there.”
