AJ Lee Vs Becky Lynch 2 WrestleMania 42 WrestleFeed App

• Sad News For AJ Lee Fans

AJ Lee is stepping away from the ring again now that her recent comeback has come to a close. After returning last year and even having a run as the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, it looks like she has finished all of her current storylines.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, her creative work is effectively done for the time being. While she isn’t expected back in the immediate future, there is still plenty of hope behind the scenes that she will return for more matches later on.

In fact, some people in WWE are already keeping their fingers crossed that she might make a special appearance for a major show like SummerSlam.

For now, though, it seems she has accomplished what she set out to do and is taking a break from the action. AJ lost the Women’s Intercontinental Title to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 42. After the match, AJ said the following in an interview with Jackie Redmond:

“I should have known better. I don’t know. Becky fights dirty. She plays dirty. I should have seen it coming. That’s on me, right? She calls WrestleMania her home, and she’s going to do anything it takes to win. She took my title from me. But I don’t know, this was still a really special night.

So once I get checked out from the doctors, I’ll reassess and… just try to appreciate the experience so far. It’s been my favorite WrestleMania experience so far. Maybe my favorite match so far, even though I lost it. I got to have my family here. For a lot of them it’s the first time ever.

And what I wanted to do that entrance was represent all the fans who have been with me from day one. Who have been wearing my outfits, my shirts and my shorts and my shoes and skipping along with me the whole way. That was for you. I love you. I never got to say goodbye last time and I felt bad about that. So this is not goodbye, but I’ll see you soon, I hope.”

• Jim Cornette Calls New WWE Signing The “Ultimate Nepobaby”

WWE officially announced the signing of Zoe Hines yesterday. She is the niece of the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Zoe represented the French national softball team and received a WWE tryout during SummerSlam 2025 weekend.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE was “politically forced” to sign Hines:

“I certainly heard a lot about Zoe Hines I would say six months ago, and it was very much this is one that was politically forced on them. She’s a real athlete, she’s a softball player.

When she had her tryout, it’s not like she knocked them dead or even knocked them even. It was very much said it was a forced hiring because of who she was and because of Robert F. Kennedy and Linda McMahon both being in the cabinet. And you know, she wanted to try.

It’s like Simone Johnson (The Rock’s daughter), the same thing. She was not a good wrestler, they eventually used her as Ava and everything like that and used her in a different role.

I had heard people very much dreading knowing this. As far as like the hiring of her, I would say it was probably known easily a year ago that it was inevitable that this would happen.

And 6 months ago, it was already known from the tryout that it was one of those where the people who knew and seen had told me it was a hire they were dreading because it was a forced one.”

Jim Cornette had the following to say about this:

“Besides the obvious fact that Sh*tler and his band of criminal misfits are determined to f**k up everything that exists with their lunatic bullsh*t, this satanic spawn of Black Sheep Kennedy could be the biggest heel ever in wrestling, the ‘Ultimate Nepobaby’.”

In March, RFK Jr. said the following during his speech at University of Florida:

“Linda McMahon is a very close friend. My niece, Zoe Hines, recently signed a contract with WWE, which Linda has a lot to do with, to become a wrestler, and I’m really looking forward to knowing so many good doctors who can treat her after.”
