• Sad News For Top RAW Star

Stephanie Vaquer has a real injury. According to the Wrestling Observer, she suffered a second-degree AC sprain in her shoulder. This was confirmed on this week’s RAW, when commentator Michael Cole announced that Vaquer will be out of action for a while.

The injury angle aired on RAW, where she was attacked by The Judgment Day backstage. WWE used the attack to write her off TV. It is still unclear exactly when and where the injury originally happened.

La Primera lost the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42. Before the match, Vaquer said in an interview that she wasn’t 100% physically heading into the match.

• Latest WWE Signing’s Debut Is Imminent

Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL departed New Japan Pro Wrestling in January before signing with WWE. His final match in NJPW came at Road to the New Beginning.

According to PWInsider, EVIL has not yet been assigned to any WWE brand and is currently listed internally on the company’s “Misc.” roster.

In an update, Bodyslam+ is reporting that EVIL’s official WWE TV debut is imminent.

On last week’s episode of NXT, during a backstage segment involving NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo, Keanu Carver, and Robert Stone, D’Angelo was handed a mysterious box with Japanese writing on top of it, sparking speculation that EVIL could soon join WWE’s developmental system.

• Real Reason WWE Released Kairi Sane

WWE has officially cut ties with Kairi Sane, and we now have a better idea of why it happened. While she was part of several big releases on April 25 alongside stars like Zelina Vega and Aleister Black, her situation was a bit different.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the move wasn’t about saving money, especially since the company is making billions right now. Instead, it seems Sane actually wanted to move back to Japan. Even though she was in the middle of a storyline with Asuka and IYO SKY, WWE decided to let her go so she could return home, and PWInsider confirmed she is already back in Japan.

Fans aren’t happy about the decision, and “We Want Kairi” chants even broke out during this week’s RAW. However, if you’re hoping for a change of heart, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.

WrestleVotes noted that WWE won’t reverse any release because they don’t want to set a trend of hiring people back just because the crowd gets loud. They did exactly that with R-Truth in 2025, and they feel like they can’t do it again so soon without looking like they are losing control.

• Natalya Issues Statement On Marc Izard’s Death During WrestleMania 42 Weekend

A tragic situation in Las Vegas has come to a heartbreaking end following the news that wrestling fan Marc Izard has passed away, according to The Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The 43-year-old had traveled all the way from the UK to attend WrestleMania 42 weekend. He was reported missing last week after he failed to return home or contact his family. The Clark County coroner’s office officially confirmed on Monday that Izard died on April 18, though they are still working to determine exactly how he passed away.

The search for Izard gained national attention after WWE Superstar Natalya used her platform to help find him.

Izard was last seen leaving the arena in Las Vegas after the April 17 episode of SmackDown. Natalya noted that the last known picture of him was taken at her autograph signing that same day.

His body was found along Las Vegas Boulevard South, just one day after he was last seen.

Natalya issued the following statement:

“Hearing about the passing of someone from our wrestling family, Marc Izard, is heartbreaking.

Wrestling brings people together in such a special way, and moments like this remind us how precious life truly is. My thoughts are with Marc’s family, friends, and everyone who loved him. ❤️”
