On this day in 1994, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW Saturday Night’.
It was broadcasted from the Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia and featured pre-taped matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW SuperBrawl IV’ PPV.

• Samoa Joe Destroys Rey Mysterio & Andrade, SmackDown Star Returns
During the main event of tonight’s SmackDown Live, Rey Mysterio and Andrade clashed in a 2 Out Of 3 Falls match.
Andrade won the first fall and Mysterio won the second. During the ending moments of the match, Samoa Joe (who defeated Mustafa Ali via Submission earlier in the night) attacked Mysterio & Andrade.

Joe then grabbed a mic and said he’s going to do the same during the Men’s Royal Rumble 2019 match this Sunday night.
This led to 13 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton returning and RKOing him out of nowhere!

Orton ended SmackDown by pointing out that he might join WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin as a 3 time Royal Rumble winner this Sunday.
