Sasha Banks, also known as Mercedes Mone, might make a return to WWE, but the company could face challenges meeting her asking price, rumored to exceed Charlotte Flair’s recent contract (which is one of the highest paying contracts for a female wrestler in WWE history), according to Fightful.
Banks is currently a free agent, and previous plans for her AEW debut have been abandoned.
While WWE’s willingness to match her demands is uncertain, Sasha continues to tease a return to WWE.
After posting photos of her WWE action figures recently, Sasha posted a photo of her outside the TD Garden in Boston, while WWE was having a Live Event over there.
In her latest tease, she posted a photo of herself in the ring with a Triple H poster in the back, thus teasing that she’s been in touch with WWE’s Chief Content Officer:
She also posted the following message on Christmas:
“Happy
Happy
Holidays
All I want for Christmas is Moné”
The starting alphabets in the above message turn into HHH aka Triple H, which resulted in getting the fans talking about her potential return.
