• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (June 22, 2015) – Old School Wrestling Veteran Passed Away

On this day in 2015, we lost Old School Wrestling Veteran “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel (Real name: William Ensor) at the age of 53 due to complications after a car accident.

Buddy Landel wrestled for various territories during the 70s, 80s & 90s, including Mid South Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, the United States Wrestling Association, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, … & many more, before he even had brief stints in the World Wrestling Federation in 1995, 1996 & 1999.

Landel won several championships during his career, such as the USWA Heavyweight Championship, the SMW Heavyweight Championship, the NWA National Heavyweight Championship, the NWA Mid-America Heavyweight Championship, the AWA Southern Heavyweight Championship , among many other titles.

• Sasha Banks Says She & Bayley Are Better Than Sammy Guevara & Chris Jericho, Jericho Takes A Shot At NXT’s Viewership

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions have been on a roll over the past week. After retaining their Titles against The IIconics and Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross at Backlash, they went on to retain them against Shotzi Blackheart & Tegan Nox on last week’s NXT.

The Boss has been quite active on Twitter, where she’s been claiming that her and Bayley’s team is better than multiple Tag Teams. One of her tweets said that they are better than Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara of Le $ex Gods, as NXT’s main event drew more viewers than AEW’s main event last week.

Jericho responded by saying that NXT still couldn’t beat AEW in the main 18-49 demo.
