On this day in Pro Wrestling history on April 1, 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WrestleMania X-Seven’ LIVE on PPV from the Astrodome in Houston, Texas.
This was the 17th annual WrestleMania event and had the tagline “Houston, We Have A Problem”.
The inaugural WrestleMania happened in 1985 and even nowadays WrestleMania is still by far the biggest professional wrestling event on the planet each year.

– WWF Intercontinental Championship: Chris Jericho (c) defeated William Regal
– Tazz & The APA defeated Right to Censor
– WWF Hardcore Championship: Kane defeated Raven (c) & Big Show
– WWF European Championship: Eddie Guerrero defeated Test (c)
– Kurt Angle defeated Chris Benoit
– WWF Women’s Championship: Chyna defeated Ivory (c)
– Street Fight: Shane McMahon defeated Mr. McMahon
– TLC – WWF Tag Team Championship: Edge & Christian defeated The Dudley Boyz (c) and The Hardy Boyz
– The Iron Sheik won the Gimmick Battle Royal
– The Undertaker defeated Triple H
– No DQ – WWF Championship: Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated The Rock (c)
• Seth Rollins Lays Out Brock Lesnar On Final RAW Before WrestleMania 35
On tonight’s go-home episode of RAW for WrestleMania 35, Seth Rollins came face-to-face with Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.
Rollins said it’s not impossible for him to defeat Lesnar and nobody wants Lesnar in WWE anymore.
Lesnar laughed at Rollins and shoved him away while leaving the ring.
This led to Rollins low-blowing Lesnar and attacking him. However, Lesnar fired back with a German Suplex.

Lesnar went for the F5, but Rollins countered and hit another low-blow! Rollins then laid out Lesnar with a Curb Stomp.

Rollins then posed with the Universal Championship and then left.
