• Several NXT Stars Set To Join SmackDown Soon
WWE has faced criticism from fans in recent months, especially for SmackDown, which has lacked excitement. Injuries haven’t helped either, with big names like Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio out for months.
The blue brand recently started a fresh mid-card feud between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu, but it’s already over before it could even get going due to The Samoan Werewolf’s injury that will keep him out of action for a long time.
According to WRKD Wrestling, WWE is planning to call up talent from NXT to SmackDown to help fill the void left by injuries. The move is also being planned to make the blue brand more exciting as part of the rumored creative changes the company had decided to make earlier this month.
There are plenty of big names in NXT who have achieved everything they can at the developmental level and are ready for the main roster, including Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Tony D’Angelo.
• Big Win For Vince McMahon In Court
Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon recorded a significant legal victory on Thursday after a Connecticut judge granted him access to a special program that could lead to the dismissal of his reckless driving charges within a year.
During a hearing in Stamford, Connecticut, McMahon was approved for an accelerated pretrial rehabilitation program – a legal option typically reserved for first-time or low-level offenders. The arrangement means that if McMahon fulfills certain court-mandated conditions, the charges against him will be dropped in October 2026.
According to reports, the 80-year-old ex-WWE CEO must avoid any further legal trouble, donate $1,000 to charity, and comply with all traffic laws over the next 12 months. If he successfully completes those requirements, the court will formally dismiss the case, leaving McMahon without a criminal record.
His attorney, Mark Sherman, spoke to TMZ Sports following the hearing and expressed satisfaction with the result:
“It was good news. Not every car accident is a crime, and the judge agreed he deserved this dismissal. We’re grateful for that.”
McMahon was originally charged with one count of reckless driving and one count of following too closely, stemming from a July 24 car accident on a Connecticut roadway. The incident reportedly involved a minor collision, though no serious injuries were reported.

Vince met fans and signed autographs outside the court. You can watch it below:
