• Shaquille O’Neal Reveals His Future In AEW

On the latest episode of ‘Inside The NBA on TNT’, Old School NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal was asked when will he wrestle his next professional wrestling match.

Here’s what he said:

“Soon. This summer.”

Shaq made his in-ring debut for Tony Khan’s All-Elite Wrestling on the March 3, 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he wrestled in an inter-gender tag team match and actually got some great reception for it.

He teamed up with Jade Cargill to defeat the team of Cody Rhodes & Red Velvet.

Speaking of Shaq, he recently told WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle to join AEW, but Angle declined the offer.

Here’s what Angle said on the Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling podcast:

“I’m in the best shape of my life, but I’m not going to wrestle. I’m done with that.

Shaquille O’Neal just texted me today and said, ‘You need to come to AEW’. I was like, ‘I’m not going to do that’.

Actually, if I did wrestle again, it would most likely be for WWE, but I’m not going to do that.

AEW was always an option, I just never really considered it because I’m retired.

I’ve heard the rumors. That’s what they are. They’re just rumors. People like to talk. They like to get excited about things, and, unfortunately, that’s not going to happen.”

Angle recently noted that he has a great relationship with WWE and he’d like to keep it that way.
