Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Ronda Rousey.

• In the co-main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 39, Rhea Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

This match lasted 23 minutes & 35 seconds, and is widely considered to be one of the best women’s matches in WWE history.

During an interview with Cageside Seats, Ronda Rousey revealed that Charlotte vs. Rhea went overtime as Charlotte defied orders from WWE Officials.

Here’s what the UFC Hall of Famer said:

“They weren’t supposed to go that long. The whole time the referee is telling them to go backstage and Charlotte threw her big d*ck on the table and said no, we’re gonna do this awesome f**king match.

And that’s what [the women are] dealing with. They’re not allowed to show how f**king amazing they are, because ‘Oh, the crowd’s gonna be tired for the guys match afterward’. That’s bulls**t!”

• During an interview with NewsNation, former Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey was asked about the allegations against her former WWE boss Vince McMahon.

Here’s what the former UFC Champion said:

“It’s not surprising. I can tell you the reason why nobody else is speaking out is because they know that there will be negative repercussions if they say anything about the company that the company doesn’t like.

Everybody is being held hostage by their careers, but since I don’t plan on going back there unless they make some very major changes, I feel free to say whatever I want to say, which I’ve always felt that way.

I don’t really care if they have me back or not. I can wrestle wherever I want to wrestle and the truth should be told.”
