• “She was there to rescue me” – WWF Legend Says Stephanie McMahon Helped Him On TV When He Forgot His Lines

On an episode of his ‘Foley Is Pod’ podcast, WWF Legend Mick Foley spoke about his 2016-2017 run as the General Manager of WWE Monday Night RAW.

The 2013 WWE Hall of Famer revealed that he kept forgetting his promo/interview lines, due to his memory issues, but none other than RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon saved him.

Here’s what Foley said about his work with Stephanie:

“She expected a lot from herself. Her father (Vince McMahon) expected a lot from her, and she delivered.

You never see her mess up a promo. She was there to rescue me when I couldn’t remember what I was doing.”

Mick Foley officially retired from active professional wrestling in 2000 but eventually returned for several matches in 2004, 2006 & 2007.
