A fan tweeted the following about former WWE Champion Sheamus on Twitter:

“Sheamus’ career resurgence needs to be studied.”

The Celtic Warrior saw this tweet and replied with a GIF of him & Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli), together known as The Bar, making their entrance at WrestleMani 35 in 2019, thus implying that the current ROH World Champion & AEW wrestler is responsible for his career resurgence.

Sheamus & Cesaro held the Tag Team Titles 5 times together. They won the RAW Tag Team Championship 4 times and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship on one occasion.

Speaking of Sheamus, former WWF/WCW writer Vince Russo recently advised him to go to another wrestling company, like AEW.

Below is Russo’s explanation behind this advice:

“Bro, I’ll be honest with you. As a writer, sometimes you get a feeling like a character has run its course.

Let’s relate this to professional sports. How many times a player that was once a great player is now in a rut, and the player gets traded because he needs a change of scenery? You hear that all the time.

Bro, I’ll be honest with you. I think the guy has run his course. Does he get a change of scenery with AEW or some new organization? Absolutely, 100%. Now he’s got new players on the team; you could book him fresh.

But I just think, to me, he’s in this category. Bro, these guys have run their course. There’s nothing more you could do with these guys. I don’t think the most creative mind could. They have been there forever. They have run their course.”

Sheamus (age 45) has been on the WWE main roster for 14 years now.

He has accomplished almost everything there is to accomplish in the company.

The Celtic Warrior has won all the Titles that have been there for several years & decades (so not counting the newly introduced Titles like the current World Heavyweight Championship or the Universal Championship that got unified with the WWE Championship), except the Intercontinental Championship.
