Sheamus Returns After 3 Months On Tonight’s RAW

Below are the results from tonight’s RAW, featuring the return of Sheamus.

– Paul Heyman confronted World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso in the opening segment of tonight’s RAW and said that Roman Reigns & CM Punk both put him in impossible situations, and explained why he’s in the right for joining Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41.

Heyman said he turned The Big Dog into The Tribal Chief and then left him after losing the Undisputed WWE Championship because he was more focused on getting revenge on Seth Rollins. Heyman ripped Reigns for leaving him to Solo Sikoa and then Sikoa attacked him, Roman only came back to get the Ula Fala back.

Jey asked what any of their situation has to do with him. Paul said the World Heavyweight Title holds power and leverage, and claimed that Seth has to become champion.

Heyman said that Bron Breakker joining them was stage 1, and stage 2 is Seth becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. Paul said that he will let Jey pick the time and place that he loses the Title to Seth. Jey accepted the challenge and picked for the match to take place tonight, and it was made official.

In a backstage segment, Heyman told Rollins that Jey fell for it, and Rollins said: “I told you so!”

Carlito and Chad Gable tried to interfere in the match and Penta took them out.

– Adam Pearce informed Grayson Waller of who his opponent will be and he’s not happy. Grayson told Austin Theory that he can have the match instead, and his opponent is revealed to be Sheamus, who has returned after a 3-month hiatus. Theory wasn’t happy that Waller didn’t tell him that The Celtic Warrior was his opponent.

– WWE announced Dominik Mysterio vs. Penta for the Intercontinental Championship for this Saturday’s Backlash PLE. AJ Styles showed up in Judgment Day’s locker room and told Dirty Dom that he’s coming for the IC Title. Dom told Finn Balor to take care of AJ since they have history. Finn got pi$$ed at first, but was just kidding and said he’ll handle Styles.

– Becky Lynch said she took out Bayley at WrestleMania 41 because Bayley is garbage and nobody cares about her. Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria came out and a brawl broke out, which ended with Lyra standing tall. Lyra said Becky should get used to being #2 as long as she’s around.

– Roxanne Perez said IYO SKY’s run at the top will be short.

After the match, Roxanne showed respect to IYO, but it was a set up as Giulia attacked IYO and Roxanne joined in.

– Rusev def. Otis

After the match, Rusev destroyed Otis and Akira Tozawa.

– Gunther & Pat McAfee met face-to-face in the ring ahead of their match at Backlash. Pat said Gunther has gotten too comfortable in WWE, and at Backlash, he will show that Gunther has gone soft. Gunther said he will show up to Backlash full prepared and Pat will have his undivided attention. Gunther said he will maul Pat, and only the grace of God will be able to take his hands off Pat’s throat.

– Seth Rollins def. Jey Uso (c) via DQ, Jey retains the World Heavyweight Championship

Sami Zayn came out during the match and attacked Bron Breakker, but Breakker took him out with a Spear. Breakker also speared Jey Uso after Paul Heyman distracted the referee. CM Punk then came out and attacked both Bron and Seth with a Steel Chair to cause the disqualification.

After RAW went off the air, Logan Paul attacked Jey Uso while Jey was meeting the fans at ringside.
