Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving Sheamus and Tiffany Stratton.
• Sheamus opened up about his noticeable weight gain during his WWE return on the April 15, 2024 episode of Monday Night RAW, attributing it to a lack of motivation and overindulgence after his WrestleMania 40 plans fell through.
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Sheamus admitted that his discipline slipped when a much-anticipated match against Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship didn’t materialize.
Here’s what the former WWE Champion said:
“Obviously, I put a lot of weight on. The burger after burger thing when I came back because I was hoping to make it at Mania, but when that didn’t happen I kinda lost a bit of my discipline, took the foot off the gas too much. It’s on me, mate.
So I was pushing for that Gunther match at Mania and it just didn’t happen. So, I was really hoping to end the trilogy, so I lost a bit of motivation. It was like full-on speed towards that. So once that was kiboshed, I was like, ‘Ah f**k whatever.’
So then I took the foot off the gas, probably drank too many Guinness. Enjoying myself too much.”
The Celtic Warrior faced body-shaming from fans during this time but took it in stride, eventually implementing a rigorous workout regimen to regain peak physical shape.

• Tiffany Stratton and Ludwig Kaiser have kept their WWE romance relatively private, but Stratton recently shared the charming story of how it all began during an interview at the red carpet for the RAW Netflix premiere.
Stratton revealed that while the two had crossed paths at the WWE Performance Center, they hadn’t interacted much until her birthday weekend. That night, she noticed Kaiser in the “Imperium corner” with his friends and decided to chat.
Stratton recalled, “I got dropped off, and I’m like, ‘Oh look, there’s Marcel, there’s Kaiser,’ and I went over and chit-chatted it up. He actually came up with the idea to play Rock Paper Scissors, and the loser had to ask the other one on a date. He lost, and he DM’d me on Instagram the next day.”
She added that Kaiser didn’t message her until late that evening. “It was like 9:00 p.m. when he finally DM’d me,” Stratton said. “And then that Wednesday, we went on our date, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.”
Despite working on different WWE brands, Stratton as SmackDown’s WWE Women’s Champion and Kaiser as a member of Imperium on RAW, the couple balances their professional and personal lives seamlessly.
