Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day:
• As we have reported multiple times before, there have been several CM Punk references on WWE programming in recent weeks, to tease a possible return of the former WWE Champion.
One of these references was Shinsuke Nakamura hitting Ricochet with the Go To Sleep on an episode of RAW, which is Punk’s finishing move.
On last night’s RAW, Nakamura cut a promo, where the translation for one of the lines he said in Japanese was shown on the screen:
“Who is worthy enough to set me free?”
This was another tease for Punk, as one of the lines in Punk’s entrance theme song ‘Cult Of Personality’ is:
“You won’t have to follow me. Only you can set me free.”
• WWE Survivor Series 2023 will take place at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois on November 25th.
We previously reported that the show was sold out with over 13,000 tickets being sold.
Since there’s a very high demand in tickets for WWE shows these days, especially premium live events, WWE has now fully opened up the Allstate Arena.
Seats are now available exactly behind the stage (the stage will be downsized as they are not listed as limited view seats), some listed at around $100 & some around $200 each.
According to WrestleTix, the new maximum capacity for Survivor Series 2023 is 16,860.
There are a lot of rumors going on that CM Punk will return to WWE at this event, but nothing is confirmed as of this writing.
