• Legendary Old School Wrestling Manager Celebrates His Birthday

Legendary Old School Wrestling Manager Jim Cornette (James E. Cornette) turns 59 today.

Cornette worked for pretty much most of the big Wrestling promotions during his career, such as the WWF World Wrestling Federation, WCW World Championship Wrestling, Mid-South Wrestling, CWA Memphis Wrestling, WCCW World Class Championship Wrestling, TNA Total Nonstop Action, … & several more, but also had his own promotion during the 90s, called SMW Smoky Mountain Wrestling.

He even appeared in Paul Heyman’s ECW Extreme Championship Wrestling for 1 night, but hardly anyone remembers that.

Among the most famous Wrestling Superstars, Jim has managed names like Yokozuna, The Midnight Express, Owen Hart, The Heavenly Bodies, Vader, Jeff Jarrett, The Rock’N’Roll Express, Big Bubba Rogers, The New Midnight Express, Mantaur, Barry Windham, The British Bulldog & Dan Severn.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM CORNETTE!

• Shoot Fight Broke Out On This Week’s AEW Dynamite (Details)

On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa defeated Ivelisse to retain her Title.

As seen during the match, Ivelisse did not sell some of the moves of Rosa.

You can watch one of the spots where Ivelisse no sold Rosa’s move below:

Fightful Select is reporting that things did indeed break down between the two women and they really started striking each other. Word backstage has been that Rosa and Ivelisse did not seem to get along even before the match.

Twitter user SoDuTw noted the following about it:

“Male NXT talents described it to me as the first shoot in AEW history. Multiple male talents walked away from ringside during the match in disgust – why the cut to tight sides.

The female locker took Rosa’s side and comforted her.

Keep in mind the match was taped and edited. What we saw was a salvaged version.

Talk of the match reached the NXT locker room instantly as it was so unprofessional. That is how I heard of it.”
