• Shooting Of Money In The Bank 2020 At WWE HQ Was Almost Shut Down By The Governor of Connecticut
The Men’s & Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Matches in 2020 took place at the WWE Headquarters during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
These two ladder matches were pre-taped, while the rest of the matches on the card took place LIVE at the WWE Performance Center.
Former RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax competed in the Women’s Ladder Match and she revealed that the shooting was almost shut down by the police, as there were restrictions on public gatherings at that time.
Below is what Nia said at an East Coast Autograph Auctions virtual signing:
“This was from the COVID Money in the Bank. Oh! That was a fun one, the theatrical Money in the Bank that we had.
That was so much fun, where we almost got shut down by the Governor of Connecticut. They were knocking at the door, the police were knocking at the door, and somehow, we were able to still shoot it, and get it done!”
