Former WWE Superstar Shotzi Blackheart didn’t hold back after a fan criticized her recent appearance on the independent scene. After her departure from WWE, Shotzi returned to the ring at ‘GCW: Tournament of Survival X’. She competed in a brutal Three-Way Deathmatch against Matt Tremont and Jimmy Lloyd for the GCW Heavyweight Championship. The match drew attention online, especially from one fan who took aim at her decision to work such a dangerous style outside of WWE. The commenter suggested Shotzi had gone from making “great money” in WWE to “trying to kill herself for some change.”

Shotzi quickly responded on social media and took a shot at her former employer. “Made more money in 2 days than what WWE paid me for a week,” she wrote.

3-Time WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart talked about his long and complicated relationship with Vince McMahon during an appearance on The Rise Guys podcast. While Hart acknowledged McMahon’s brilliance, he also pointed out how difficult things became for current WWE Superstars behind the scenes.

“Vince had a great mind,” Bret said. “I don’t know like from what I gather talking to young wrestlers that are in WWE today that Vince became a big obstacle to getting things done.” According to Hart, McMahon’s decision-making became unpredictable over time. “At the end he became almost too much of a tyrant, he seemed to be unhappy with everything everybody was doing and so would scrub ideas midway through the show.”

The Hitman also noted that many within WWE have felt relief since McMahon stepped away. “I had a lot of people tell me that since the day he left, it’s been tranquil and business has been better and everyone has a better attitude.” He suggested that McMahon may have burned out. “How many ideas can a guy come up with in wrestling storylines and stuff?”

When asked if Vince McMahon might ever return to wrestling, Bret didn’t think it was likely, unless he decided to start his own company. He did mention hearing rumors of Vince possibly partnering with Hulk Hogan, but didn’t see it as realistic.

The conversation also touched on the serious allegations against McMahon in the Janel Grant lawsuit and his subsequent departure from WWE. Hart initially joked about wanting to illustrate the events but then turned serious, condemning the former WWE CEO and John Laurinaitis.

“I had a lot of respect for Vince and we had our ups and downs,” Bret Hart said. “But what Vince and John did was inexcusable.” He went further, labeling McMahon as a predator and accusing him of using pro wrestling to hide his actions. “Money can turn somebody into a bad person,” he added.
