SmackDown After WrestleMania 42 Results – Title Change, 3 Debuts, 2 More Debuts Coming

Below are the results from tonight’s post-WrestleMania 42 episode of SmackDown:

– Jacob Fatu kicked off SmackDown by calling out World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and challenging him to prove he isn’t ready. The Usos tried to recruit Fatu and warn him not to target The OTC, while Jey Uso said he’s already stepped into dangerous territory. Solo Sikoa arrived with The MFTs, claiming he brought Fatu to WWE and offering him strength in numbers to take on Reigns. After Tama Tonga dismissed him, Fatu snapped and superkicked him, then challenged Solo to a match later tonight.

– Women’s United States Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton def. Giulia (c) to win the title

– Danhausen went to the house of The Miz and Maryse, and relaxed in their pool. Miz accidentally crashed in the pool. Miz then ended up throwing dirt at Maryse by mistake.

– NXT’s Fatal Influence faction (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid) debuted on tonight’s SmackDown after WrestleMania 42 and interrupted the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match between Paige/Brie Bella and Charlotte Flair/Alexa Bliss, attacking all four women to send a message.

– Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes said outside forces tried to interject into his WrestleMania plans, tried to get involved with his Nightmare Family, and they are now 0-3 against him. Cody said he is willing to face anyone and that he won’t be easy to beat.

– WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Wepa Up (Damian Priest and R-Truth) (c) def. The MFTs (Tama Tonga and JC Mateo) to retain the titles

– Trick Williams celebrated becoming the United States Champion with Lil Yachty and The Gingerbread Man. The Gingerbread Man turned on Trick and Yachty, and laid them out. He unmasked himself to be Sami Zayn.

– Blake Monroe will debut on SmackDown soon.

– Danhausen def. The Miz using a curse

– Solo Sikoa once again asked Royce Keys to join his family.

– WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley def. Jacy Jayne via DQ after Fatal Influence attacked Ripley

– Charlotte Flair was unhappy with Rhea Ripley because Rhea couldn’t take care of Jacy Jayne. Flair said she’ll face Jayne next week.

– WWE announced that Ricky Saints will make his SmackDown debut next week.

– Jacob Fatu def. Solo Sikoa

The MFTs attacked Fatu after the match, but Fatu took care of them with a steel chair. He put Tonga Loa through the announce table as The Usos looked on.
