As always, Dink (Tiger Jackson) was in Doink’s corner for the match. The 1994 Babyface version of Doink was portrayed by Ray Apollo.

On this day in 1993, the World Wrestling Federation aired a ‘King of the Ring Qualifying Match’ between “The Bad Guy” Razor Ramon and “El Matador” Tito Santana.

• SmackDown Live Star Getting Main Event Push Soon?
As seen on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Lana gave a hint to Rusev that Aiden English might be the one who’s holding him back and it looks like the team of Rusev & English is going to split up soon.
However, that might not be a bad thing. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials see Rusev & Lana as a main event pairing, while they see Rusev & English as a mid-card level team.
If WWE is going in the direction of putting Lana back as Rusev’s manager, then it’s very much possible that Rusev is set to enter the main event scene on SmackDown Live soon.
