Below are the complete results from tonight’s episode of SmackDown, which was the final episode of the blue brand for 2024.
– SmackDown kicked off with General Manager Nick Aldis. He said that Cody Rhodes is still the Undisputed WWE Champion and Kevin Owens is not a champion in any shape or form. Aldis gave Kevin until the end of the night to return the Winged Eagle Title or else Kevin will suffer the consequences.
– WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair & Naomi, and Bayley def. WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, Ms. Money In The Bank Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae
– Sami Zayn met Nick Aldis and said they need to talk. He expressed that it’s only fair he gets a chance for revenge against The New Bloodline. However, Carmelo Hayes entered the scene, prompting Zayn to confront him for interrupting the discussion with Aldis. Zayn then challenged Hayes to a match later in the evening.
– Braun Strowman def. Austin Theory
– Chelsea Green & Piper Niven held a Celebration for Chelsea winning the Women’s United States Championship. Michin interrupted and said if it wasn’t for Piper interfering in their match, she would be the champion today, and went after them with a Kendo Stick.
– The Street Profits def. Los Garza
– In a backstage segment, Apollo Crews told The Street Profits that it was #DIY (current WWE Tag Team Champions Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) who attacked them, and that he knows it was #DIY because he saw it.

– Sami Zayn def. Carmelo Hayes via DQ when Carmelo escaped and the New Bloodline attacked Zayn
Braun Strowman chased Carmelo to the back, but came back and brawled with the Bloodline. Strowman took out Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa. Strowman then had a face-off with Jacob Fatu. They were about to fight, but Tama and Solo jumped Strowman. Zayn went after Solo, but got taken out as well.

– Kevin Owens came out with the Winged Eagle Championship in the main event segment. Nick Aldis told him to hand the title back. Owens said this is the only bargaining chip he has and that he wants a title rematch against Cody Rhodes. Aldis said this isn’t a negotiation, and told him to give the title back or Owens would never step foot in a WWE ring again. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes then came out. Aldis advised Cody to walk away for the sake of his own health.
Cody said it’s his responsibility to take the Winged Eagle Title back from Owens. Cody said Kevin wants a match where the referee can’t screw him, and he wants a match where the referee can’t stop him. Cody then had a discussion with Aldis and went on to challenge Owens to a Ladder Match where both the titles will be hung up.
Aldis made the Ladder Match official for Royal Rumble 2025. Owens said it sounds great to him and offered a handshake, but Cody didn’t shake his hand. Owens then pushed Nick into Cody and assaulted Rhodes on his way out of the ring.
Owens shouted the following to end the show:
“I’m the true champion! See you at the Rumble, b*tch!”
