SmackDown Results – Cody Rhodes Sends A Message To Brock Lesnar

Below are the results from tonight’s WWE SmackDown, featuring WarGames updates, Cody Rhodes, AJ Lee, and more.

– Paul Heyman declared that Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, & The Usos will be locked in a Double Cage with Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, Big Bronson Reed, & Drew McIntyre in War Games at Survivor Series. Heyman said Bronson will hit all of his opponents with a Tsunami. The Usos interrupted and said they already dropped them on RAW and will do it again at Survivor Series. Heyman said they are foolish to come out when they are outnumbered. Cody Rhodes’ music hit, but he didn’t come out, and it’s revealed that Drew attacked Cody in his bus.

– Ilja Dragunov (c) def. JD McDonagh to retain the United States Championship

Tama Tonga confronted Ilja backstage again.

– Nick Aldis met with The Vision backstage and reminded them that Drew McIntyre is still suspended from SmackDown and can’t be in the building.

– Alexa Bliss put Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley together in a room to fix their issues.

– Carmelo Hayes def. “Big” Bronson Reed via Count-Out to advance in The Last Time Is Now Tournament after Cody Rhodes interfered and took out Bronson with a Cross Rhodes

Both Men’s WarGames teams brawled during the match. After the match, Cody cut a promo to send a message to all of his WarGames opponents, including Brock Lesnar:

“Brock Lesnar, don’t forget the last person who beat you here was me, and not once but twice.”

– Giulia and Kiana James were looking for Chelsea Green backstage, but she hid from them and postponed her U.S. Title victory celebration. Chelsea also called herself the greatest women’s champion of all time and was confronted by WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.

– Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, and The Motor City Machine Guns promoted their 5-on-5 traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match against Team MFT on next week’s SmackDown.

– #DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) def. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom)

Candice LeRae unmasked Axiom during the match, which resulted in Axiom getting pinned as he was busy hiding his face.

– Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley put their issues aside for the Women’s WarGames Match.

– Penta def. Finn Balor to advance in The Last Time Is Now Tournament

– Solo Sikoa sent a message to Team Sami Zayn ahead of their match next week.

– The main event segment, AJ Lee came out to join Team Rhea Ripley for the Women’s WarGames Match. However, Team Asuka attacked Rhea’s team in the ring. AJ ran to the ring to make the save, but got attacked by Becky Lynch. Becky joined Asuka’s team to end the show.
