Elton Prince & Kit Wilson of Pretty Deadly will now face Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles in two weeks, on the June 30th episode of SmackDown in London, England.
– Zelina Vega def. IYO SKY
Bayley tried to help IYO, but it backfired.
– Bianca Belair asked Adam Pearce to book her in a rematch against Asuka for the Title, but Pearce said he can’t do it.
– Shotzi challenged Bayley to a match with Bayley’s Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match spot on the line, and IYO SKY accepted on Bayley’s behalf. When Bayley asked why IYO did it, IYO said she was just trying to help.
– Charlotte Flair appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect. Grayson talked about how Charlotte ended Asuka’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania 34. Grayson asked Charlotte if she’ll become a 15-time World Champion in a few weeks by defeating Asuka. Charlotte said she will because she has Asuka’s number.
Bianca Belair then interrupted. Bianca questioned why Charlotte is getting a title match over her. Charlotte said the line starts and ends with her. Charlotte said she lost to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania, but didn’t get a rematch, so they both are owed a rematch.
Belair then said she lost her Title, but she stayed and tried to get a rematch the right way. Charlotte said she didn’t run away, she stayed away, and that she picked herself up every time she lost, and she has done it 14 times.
Charlotte said she’s a champion without the title, is Bianca a champion without the title? Bianca said she’s the longest Women’s Champion of the modern era and she didn’t have to do it 14 times, so Charlotte better put some respect on her name.
Bianca said she’ll find a way to become champion again, despite Adam Pearce not granting her a rematch.
– Paul Heyman apologized to Jey Uso backstage, for Jimmy Uso kicking him in the face last week and costing him the United States Championship. Jey apologized to Heyman too and once again said what he said last week, that if he’s in The Bloodline, then Heyman is out.
– Karrion Kross & Scarlett def. AJ Styles & “Michin” Mia Yim
Styles had Kross beat after hitting the Styles Clash, but Scarlett broke up the pin and tried to seduce AJ. Kross then took advantage of a distracted AJ and pinned him after hitting his finisher.
– Paul Heyman told Roman Reigns what Jey Uso told him. Solo Sikoa asked Roman if he should take care of this situation, and Roman told him to calm down.
– Cameron Grimes was being interviewed backstage and Baron Corbin attacked him.
– Rey Mysterio put over Santos Escobar and said he thinks Escobar has what it takes to become the next Mr. Money In The Bank. Santos said he loves Rey and thanked him. LA Knight then interrupted them.
LA shoved down Rey. Santos then attacked Knight. Rey went for the 619 on LA, but LA managed to escape in time.
– Santos Escobar def. LA Knight
LA tried to pin Santos by holding the middle rope, but Santos countered and pinned LA. LA attacked Santos after the match, which led to Mysterio making the save.
– Before the main event segment, Sami Zayn gave Jey Uso a nod backstage.
Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa & Paul Heyman came out in the main event segment of tonight’s SmackDown.
Despite Triple H presenting Roman with a new Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Heyman is still carrying the old WWE Championship and the Universal Championship on his shoulders.
Jey Uso came out and Roman asked him if he’s in or if he’s out. Jey told him that Heyman has to leave if he’ll stay. Roman said Jey can choose whoever he wants to be his Wise Man when he becomes The Tribal Chief, but Heyman isn’t leaving because he’s his Wise Man.
Roman said Jey’s role is to keep them at the top and they have been grooming Jey for 3 years as The Right Hand Man and Main Event Jey Uso.
Jimmy Uso came out and asked Jey if he really believes the garbage that is coming out of Roman’s mouth right now.
Roman reminded The Usos that they’ve been doing this for over 10 years, but he’s the one that put them in the WrestleMania main event.
Reigns asked Heyman who was the only one that had a problem when they named Jey the Right Hand Man and Heyman pointed at Jimmy. Jey asked Jimmy if that is true. Jimmy said it’s true.
Jey asked if Jimmy has been doubting him this whole damn time. Jey then reminded Jimmy of all their childhood issues. Jey said he has main evented SmackDown, PPVs and WrestleMania all because of Roman, so Jimmy is out, and he’s out too and then superkicked Roman!
Solo tried to attack him, but The Usos took him out. The Usos ended SmackDown with a double superkick to Reigns.
