SmackDown Results – New Champions Crowned, NXT Wrestler Debuts

Below are the complete results from tonight’s SmackDown, which was the final show before Royal Rumble 2024.

– Eladio Carrion introduced Randy Orton to kick off SmackDown. Orton expressed gratitude for being featured in Carrion’s music video. Orton declared his intention to deliver the RKO on Roman Reigns and become a 15-time World Champion tomorrow night at the Royal Rumble.

AJ Styles interjected, reminding Orton not to overlook him. Styles mentioned requesting a match with Solo Sikoa from Nick Aldis, but Aldis granted it to LA Knight instead. Styles warned Orton about a receipt for last week’s RKO.

LA Knight came out, expressing reluctance to face Solo Sikoa, suspecting Heyman tried to soften him up before tomorrow, as he’s the biggest threat to The Tribal Chief. Styles concluded the segment with a Pele kick to Orton.

– Santos Escobar def. Carlito

NXT wrestler Elektra Lopez attacked Zelina Vega and is back in Santos’ Legado Del Fantasma faction. This was Elektra’s official WWE main roster debut.

– Bobby Lashley, Santos Escobar and R-Truth drew their Royal Rumble numbers backstage.

– Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) def. Katana Chance & Kayden Carter (c) to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

– Paul Heyman told Jimmy Uso to enter the Royal Rumble match, win it, and face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40, so he can bring the World Heavyweight Championship to The Bloodline.

– Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits and The Final Testament got into a brawl, which ended with Karrion Kross & Authors of Pain standing tall.

– Bayley & Bianca Belair drew their Royal Rumble numbers.

– Austin Theory def. Carmelo Hayes

After the match, Theory & Grayson Waller attacked Carmelo, which led to Trick Williams making the save.

– LA Knight vs. Solo Sikoa ended in a DQ after AJ Styles interfered

After the match, AJ, LA, Solo, Jimmy Uso & Randy Orton got into a brawl, which ended with Knight standing tall.
