– Tonight’s SmackDown kicked off with Cody Rhodes calling out Kevin Owens, but General Manager Nick Aldis appeared instead. Aldis told Cody that despite Cody wanting to get retribution for Kevin attacking Randy Orton last week, he can’t allow Kevin to be on SmackDown until things are resolved internally.
– Bayley def. B-Fab and Candice LeRae in a Triple Threat Match to advance to the next round of the Women’s United States Championship Tournament
– LA Knight issued an Open Challenge for the United States Championship. Santos Escobar wanted to accept, but LA said he has already defeated him and instead wants to face Berto.
– LA Knight (c) def. Berto to retain the United States Championship
After the match, Shinsuke Nakamura returned in face paint and attacked Knight.

– The new Bloodline faced off against Roman Reigns, The Usos & Sami Zayn. A brawl broke out between both sides that ended with the new Bloodline standing tall after “Big” Bronson Reed joined them and revealed he’s their 5th member for WarGames. Reed hit Reigns with a Tsunami. Jey Uso told Reigns to “make the call” after this.

– Kevin Owens announced that he will be on next week’s SmackDown and is only doing it for himself and his love of Utah and their fresh mountains.
– The Street Profits def. The Motor City Machine Guns via DQ after Tommaso Ciampa interfered and pushed Montez Ford off the Turnbuckle (MCMG are still the WWE Tag Team Champions, as titles can’t change hands via disqualification)
After the match, Johnny Gargano came out and tried to calm Ciampa down, but Ciampa pushed him to the mat.
