Andrade joined WWE in 2015 and left the company in 2021. He went to AEW following his release from the Stamford-based promotion and spent two years there. He returned to WWE in January 2024 for a second run, which was not booked very consistently.
According to Fightful Select, the former United States Champion has left WWE. He was recently moved to the Alumni section on the company’s website. The reason for his departure is unknown yet.
Andrade last appeared at SummerSlam in a TLC Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship, where The Wyatt Sicks retained their titles.
• Jerry Lawler’s Right Side & Vision Affected By Stroke
WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler was set to make several convention and signing appearances in the coming days, including at HorrorHound Weekend, but recently pulled out of them, citing “personal issues.”
PWInsider initially reported that those issues were related to his health. TMZ broke the news on Thursday that the WWE legend suffered a stroke last Friday at one of his homes in Florida. He was hospitalized, but is now in recovery.
In an updated provided by FOX 13 in Memphis, it was revealed that Lawler is now resting at his home. The stroke he suffered was a minor one, but it affected his right side and vision.

– MJF took shots at Mark Briscoe, claiming that “blue collar rusts while white collar always wins,” while also insulting Philadelphia. Briscoe then appeared on the screen to address their upcoming stipulation, recalling how he’d seen Sabu send countless opponents through tables.
Calling MJF a “prick,” he challenged him to a No DQ Tables and Thumbtacks Match featuring “hundreds of thousands of thumbtacks.” Briscoe then stormed the ring and tried to drive MJF into the tacks, but Max managed to slip away.

– Backstage, ECW Legend Jerry Lynn was speaking with Anthony Bowens when Max Caster suddenly ran into him and launched an attack. Their fight spilled out to the ring, where Lynn grabbed a mic and questioned what had gone wrong with their team. That’s when Swirl appeared, mocking Lynn for acting like a therapist instead of backing a “real” team like his own, promising to show him what he was missing.
Lynn fired back and started throwing punches, but was quickly beaten down. Caster tried to make the save but was overpowered. Bowens hesitated before finally jumping in to even the odds, helping clear the ring. Afterward, Lynn raised their arms in unity, but the former Acclaimed members pulled away and walked off separately.

• Failed WWE Wrestler Wins MMA Debut Fight In 98 Seconds (Video)
Olympic gold medalist & former WWE NXT wrestler Gable Steveson made his MMA debut at LFA 217 last night, defeating Braden Peterson in the co-main event via first-round TKO.
The fight took place in Prior Lake, Minnesota, and Steveson didn’t waste much time. After taking a few leg kicks, he secured a takedown early in the bout – about 15 seconds in – and then dominated Peterson on the ground with a barrage of strikes that forced the referee to stop the fight in just 98 seconds!

For Steveson, this victory was more than just a debut. He entered the MMA world after success in wrestling (including Olympic gold), a brief stint in WWE, and a short time with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.
UFC Legend Jon Jones was at his side in this fight, watching from the corner. Steveson’s performance was decisive, and many in the MMA community are already excited to see what he can do next. If last night was any indication, he may not be far from competing with the big names.
Steveson was released from WWE in May 2024, after only one televised match in NXT against Baron Corbin, which was received poorly. WWE officials felt he wasn’t making progress and decided to let him go.
