Below are some top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, involving Jey Uso, Drew McIntyre, CM Punk and Edge.
• Former WWE Champion Sheamus was last seen on the August 18th episode of SmackDown, where he lost to Edge in a first time ever match. He has been off TV since then due to a shoulder injury.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Sheamus is expected to return to TV “real soon”.
His Brawling Brutes faction is having trouble these days. Ridge Holland recently walked out on Butch during a tag team match.
On last Friday’s SmackDown, Pretty Deadly made fun of Butch for his partner walking out on him. Butch attacked them, but they took him out.
Word going on is that Sheamus is going to return to team up with Butch to take on Pretty Deadly.
• On RAW, “Yeet” was blurred out on Jey Uso’s top in a video package.
WrestleVotes reported the following about it:
“WWE has found trademark issues with Jey Uso’s ‘Yeet’. The word & merchandising will no longer be associated with Uso going forward.”
Drew McIntyre mocked Jey by posting the following “No Yeet” clip from Jimmy Uso:

After Jey lost to Seth Rollins in a World Heavyweight Championship match in the main event of RAW, McIntyre attacked him and suplexed him through the announce table.
