• SmackDown Star Is Waiting For A Phone Call From Triple H

SmackDown Superstar Lacey Evans hasn’t been involved in a significant feud on WWE TV in a while now.

During an interview on Brandi Rhodes’ “2 Lies and 1 Truth” podcast, Lacey said she’s keeping herself ready and hoping to get a phone call from Chief Content Officer Triple H:

“Yeah, I hope so. I mean, some stuff may be in the works. I just gotta keep working hard and when they’re ready for me, I have to be ready so, you know how it is.

I’m just waiting on that phone call. Good or bad, good or bad, it’s a phone call, man. You just gotta be ready (laughs).”

Lacey returned to TV earlier this month after a 2-month gap and competed in a #1 Contenders match, but failed to earn a SmackDown Women’s Championship match for Survivor Series 2022.

• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Attitude Era Superstar “Captain Charisma” Christian (Real name: William Jason Reso) turns 49 today.

Christian debuted on World Wrestling Federation TV in 1998, right at the peak of the famous Attitude Era and was forced to retire in 2014 due to an injury, from which he wouldn’t return until 2021.

While Christian had a pretty good singles career, especially later on during the Ruthless Agression Era, he’s still mostly considered a Tag Team Wrestling Legend due to his legendary run with Edge from 1998 till 2001, including 7 reigns as WWF World Tag Team Champions.

Between November 2005 and November 2008, he wrestled for Total Nonstop Action! (TNA) under the name Christian Cage, a name he also uses in Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling.
