Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving SmackDown star Jimmy Uso and RAW star Dominik Mysterio.

• In the main event of Friday’s Tribute To The Troops edition of SmackDown, Randy Orton and LA Knight defeated The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso).

Knight was about to hit the BFT, but Orton pulled Jimmy Uso away and hit an RKO to pick up the win.

With this loss, Jimmy’s winning streak at Tribute To The Troops is over, as his record is 3-1 now.

• At NXT Deadline, Dominik Mysterio lost the NXT North American Championship to SmackDown wrestler Dragon Lee.

Rey Mysterio was on commentary for this match and congratulated Lee after the match.

In a backstage interview, Dirty Dom said the following about his loss:

“You all saw what happened to me out there. I am the greatest NXT North American Champion that’s ever been. Dragon Lee, my deadbeat dad?

Where’s Judgment Day? Where’s Finn, where’s Damian, JD, Mami? You know what, I’m gonna go home to Mami because Judgment Day runs all and this shouldn’t be happening.”

Before the match, Dominik claimed in an interview that he has carried WWE for almost two years now and isn’t interested in facing Dragon Lee:

“Well, you know, my back also hurts from carrying this company on my back for the past almost two years now. I already beat Dragon Lee twice with my dad in his corner.

So I don’t know why I need to continue to prove myself on why I’m the greatest NXT North American Champion that has ever stepped foot on this planet.”
