On tonight’s post-SummerSlam episode of SmackDown, Shayna Baszler defeated Raquel Rodriguez, Natalya, Xia Li, Aliyah, Shotzi & Sonya Deville in a Gauntlet Match.
With this win, Shayna has become the #1 contender and will face Liv Morgan for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at next month’s WWE Clash At The Castle premium live event in the UK.
Below is the updated match-card for this September 3rd event:
– Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
– SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Shayna Baszler
Also on tonight’s SmackDown, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Ludwig Kaiser to earn an Intercontinental Championship match against Gunther.
However, this Title match will take place on next week’s SmackDown, not at Clash At The Castle.
