• SmackDown Wrestler Might Get Repackaged Soon, Another Name Change Possible

As seen on this week’s SmackDown, Shorty G turned heel and attacked Matt Riddle when he tried to attack King Corbin.

We noted earlier that Daniel Bryan is working on the creative team of SmackDown and he’s been pushing for underused talent to be given more time on the show.

Alongside Big E, Drew Gulak and Lucha House Party, Shorty G is also one of the names Bryan wants to push.

WrestlingNewsco is reporting that there have been talks about Chad Gable dropping the Shorty G gimmick. As he’s a heel now, it looks possible that he may drop the gimmick and become something more serious. This could result in his name changing one more time.
