• SmackDown Wrestler Set To Return To His Old Character

When former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne was called up to the WWE main roster, Vince McMahon changed his name to Butch and his character was changed too.

He was put in a team with Sheamus and Ridge Holland, together known as The Brawling Brutes.

According to WrestleVotes, Butch is scheduled to get his Pete Dunne name back and he will also revert to his ‘Bruiserweight’ character soon:

“Absolutely, I was told that it’s in the works. When Triple H came back, I was told that Butch was due to become Pete Dunne, but somebody said, to wait because The Brawling Brutes were catching on.

When Pete Dunne returns, it won’t be as a member of The Brawling Brutes. I’m sure he’ll be back by the end of this year.”

Butch also teased this with the following tweet:

Butch was last seen in a match on the February 3rd episode of SmackDown, where him & Ridge lost to The Viking Raiders.
