• Snoop Dogg Confirms WWE Officials Weren’t Happy With His AEW Appearance

Popular American rapper and WWE Hall Of Famer (Celebrity Wing) Snoop Dogg was a part of AEW Dynamite “New Year’s Smash” (Night 1) episode in January earlier this year, to promote the Go-Big Show.

Apart from appearing in various segments, Snoop also got physical when he delivered a Splash to Serpentico.

Cody Rhodes even counted to 3 after the spot and gave Snoop an unofficial win.

During his appearance on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning podcast, Snoop Dogg confirmed a previous report that WWE officials weren’t happy with his AEW appearance.

Here’s what he said:

“They felt some type of way.

Let me tell you this, Snoop Dogg ain’t no wrestler. He’s bigger than that. You gotta understand that.

This is the dynamics of what happened: I had a show on TBS called Go-Big Show. So, Cody Rhodes was one of the judges on the show, and he’s one of the top dogs at AEW. So, as a promotional vehicle for the gig, I went on AEW.”

He then revealed what WWE Officials said to him after his AEW appearance:

“Hey, you funning with them? We got to push pause on your a$$ for a minute. So, I stayed cool. They pushed pause for about two weeks, and then they go, ‘hey man, we got this video game and we need you.’”
