Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Solo Sikoa and Lilian Garcia.
• SmackDown In Barcelona kicked off with LA Knight celebrating becoming the new United States Champion. Jimmy Uso interrupted and said he wants to challenge LA for the title. Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga interrupted.
Solo said if anyone is getting a title match, it should be Jacob. They attacked LA & Jimmy, which led to Braun Strowman making the save. Nick Aldis came out and booked them in a 6-man tag team match.
The babyfaces won the match, but Fatu attacked Strowman after the match.
During the promo segment that started the show, Solo accidentally dropped the F-bomb. You can watch it below:

While WWE didn’t edit this when it aired internationally on Netflix, they ended up editing it out from the USA Network version that aired later at the usual time slot.
• Lilian Garcia made the following announcement after yesterday’s SmackDown in Spain:
“Just finished announcing SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain and it was absolutely incredible!! Gracias por todo el amor España!
But now I have some news that this was my last show as the full-time SmackDown announcer. A new era is upon us BUT I will still be with the company as I will be announcing for all WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event shows on NBC & Peacock, singing at certain special events, AND currently working on other show ideas with WWE!
WWE is my home so stay tuned as a new chapter begins… I invite all of you to continue this journey with me as we share it together!!
Bottom line, thank you and I love you dearly!!!!”
