• “Some people might be canceled” – WWE Has A New Policy In NXT 2.0

According to the Wrestling Observer, newcomers in WWE’s NXT 2.0 developmental show are now getting 6 months to improve or they will be released.

Here’s what they reported:

“You know what I heard today? I don’t have all of the details, but with NXT 2.0 they got the new deal where you got 6 months to get better in this program here.

Who in the world could possibly get better in 6 months working no shows and just doing horrible stuff on television. But every 6 months they evaluate you and if you aren’t getting better then you are like done for and apparently they’ve made some evaluations including some names you would know.

So we might get some changes coming to NXT 2.0. Some people might be canceled.”

As we have noted before, WWE doesn’t hire indy wrestlers anymore and they only put those wrestlers on NXT 2.0 that Vince McMahon would actually like to push on the WWE main roster.

This means there aren’t going to be many cases of top NXT wrestlers getting wasted on the WWE main roster moving forward.
