• WWE is keeping their options open for The Rock’s involvement at WrestleMania 41. Although current plans are being made under the assumption he won’t appear, insiders suggest that his participation could shift priorities instantly.

WWE’s creative team is operating with a ‘wait and see’ approach, ready to adjust if The Rock signals his interest.

If he decides to participate, his plans would effectively become the direction for the event, showcasing his influence within the company.

PWInsider reported the following:

“If The Rock wants to do something, that’s as good as Ari Emanuel (CEO of Endeavor) telling Triple H and the creative team, ‘this is what will happen,’ and then it will.”

• WWE plans to renew their singles push for Finn Balor in 2025, signaling big developments for the current World Tag Team Champion next year.

In recent years, Balor has enjoyed both singles and tag team success, including a notable rivalry with Seth Rollins over the World Heavyweight Championship in 2023 and a reign as Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion with Damian Priest.

This year, Balor teamed with JD McDonagh to win the World Tag Team Titles on June 24, 2024, and has since defended them sparingly as part of Judgment Day.

WrestleVotes suggests that Balor’s momentum will build further in the coming year:

“As we approach the 10-year anniversary of Finn Balor in WWE, sources tell us he’s solidified himself as a true locker room leader over the past year or so. In addition, we are told to expect a sustained singles push for Finn as we head into 2025.”

Balor will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Title on Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.
