Below are a couple of top WWE RAW news stories of the day.
• At WWE King & Queen of the Ring, Dominik Mysterio threw a steel chair in the ring to try to help Becky Lynch, but his plan backfired as Liv Morgan used the chair to her advantage to defeat Becky and capture the Women’s World Championship.
In a backstage segment after this match, Becky revealed that she has a rematch clause in her contract and will face Liv for the Title on Monday’s RAW.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has confirmed that this title rematch will indeed take place on tonight’s show and added that it will be a Steel Cage Match to prevent outside shenanigans.

• At the WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024 PLE, Gunther defeated Randy Orton to become the King of the Ring.
On The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, Mark Henry said the following about Gunther:
“He’s a throwback, yeah. And I liked him when he was bigger. I don’t care that he’s got, you can see abs and stuff. He’s a big, tough believable human. Currently, when I’m thinking like, they say, ‘Listen man, show me a man in wrestling today,’ I have to say Gunther. He looks like he will punch you in the face to talk to you.”
When podcast co-host Matt Lyda asked both WWE Hall of Famer if fans are getting the itch to witness more of Gunther’s style of wrestling, Henry and Undertaker replied:
“They need it.”
